Patek Philippe 5004P First Series retailed by Beyer

The 5004, referred to by Mr Stern as the next 2499, was incredibly difficult to produce for the brand resulting in very few pieces made, especially for early pieces like this - recognisable by its small crown, short hands and first series movement.

This example in unpolished condition, was retailed by Beyer of Zurich, its stock serial number engraved on the back of the lug.
