Patek Philippe Nautilus ref. 3700/1a "First Series"

The Nautilus 3700, once overshadowed by the 5711, is regaining attention ahead of its 50th anniversary. Of particular interest is the rare “dash dial” variant, used only on the earliest 3700/1a models with serials up to 533’999. Estimated at just 150–200 pieces, many dash dials were lost to servicing. Unique in font, case finish, and clasp details, they show varied aging due to early manufacturing methods—making pristine examples exceptionally rare and coveted among insider collectors.
